“Refrigerator is full of lemonade.”
Growing up a black kid in a mostly white, conservative, overtly religious, country-singing town can be a nightmare if you forget to look on the bright side. My story is riddled with wild adventures, perplexing life questions, and a spectrum of emotions, each with overtones of racism, anxiety, and the age-old quest “to make your parents proud.” I’m a humorist, storyteller, and an occasional piece of human trash who believes the best way to learn, educate, and experience is the written word. Welcome to Black Man in the Right World.
